Safe Short and Long-Term Storage For Seniors

Truckin’ for Seniors offers both short and long-term storage through our parent company’s storage centers.

  1. Downsizing: Seniors may be moving to a smaller home or assisted living and need temporary storage for their belongings.
  2. Traveling: Seniors may be traveling for an extended period of time and need to store their belongings while they are away.
  3. Moving to a retirement community or downsizing to a smaller home: Seniors may be moving to a retirement community where they will have limited space and need long-term storage for their belongings.
  4. Estate planning: Seniors may be planning their estate and need long-term storage for valuable items that they plan to pass down to their children or grandchildren.
  5. Health issues: If seniors have health issues that require them to move in with family members or into an assisted living facility, long-term storage may be necessary for their belongings until they can be properly sorted and organized.
  6. Collections & Hobbies: Seniors may have prized collections or hobbies that they do not want to part with, yet they don’t have room in their new home. Long-term storage can provide a safe place to keep these items until they are needed again.

Our parent company that owns the storage centers, Truckin’ Movers, has been trusted locally since 1976, so you can always be confident that anything we store for you will be safe and secure.

How it Works

Getting Started

Below is an overview of the steps involved when hiring us for your upcoming move/downsize. Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions!

1

Schedule a Consultation

We will chat over the phone, facetime or even in-person about your upcoming move and any special requests. During this initial consultation we will create the overall plan, what items you plan on moving to your new home, etc. If you’re not sure of all the details yet, that’s okay! This meeting is completely complimentary!

2

Pick a Date

Once I have gathered enough information from you, I will be able to give you an exact quote for the move. The quote will include my hourly rate as well as the cost of any extra services. From there, we will finalize our plans and date based on your schedule.

3

Have a Fantastic Move

On the day of the move, my team and I will arrive at your home/office to unload all of your belongings into your new location. My goal is to make the process as seamless and simple as possible!
